Storage on the Spot recently had a 40' portable office built from an ISO shipping container on rent for the Big Brothers Big Sisters Christmas Tree Sale at the Ashland Tennis Center. With the need to house volunteer staff and business/charity essentials the folks at Big Brothers Big Sisters found the 40' climate controlled portable office to be the perfect solution.

This is the 34th annual Christmas tree sale for Big Brothers Big Sisters in the Tri-State.

Speaking to Patti Price, the Executive Director, "More than 600 volunteers from clubs, organizations and businesses have assisted with the sale that ends today Friday December the 19th."

All proceeds from the nearly 1000 trees sold, a total of around $30,000.00, will go to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Tri-State.

With three total locations: Two in Huntington, at: BB&T Bank, 6th Avenue and 1st Street, and HIMG, U.S. Route 60 East; and this one in Ashland, at the Ashland Tennis Center, 13th Street and Oakview Road this years fund-raiser was yet another success for Big Brother Big Sister.

All trees for the Christmas tree sale are shipped from Virginia and Michigan. The trees offered include White Pine, Scotch Pine and Fraser Fir varieties, as well as wreaths.

Big Brothers Big Sisters serves children through the mentoring of adult volunteers on a one-to-one basis. More infromation on Big Brothers Big Sisters can be found online at their website: www.bbs.org.
